From where to start on a project to how to hang artwork in the finished home; you will see and read about it here. “On The Fringe” will walk you through the life of an interior designer, day by day. In my work, I learn something new everyday, and each day you will be able to follow what I am experiencing and learning.

Every project presents an entirely new set of challenges and circumstances.

• You will learn about artisans and manufacturers and take behind-the-scenes looks at their factories and studios.
• You will learn how products actually get from the manufacturer to you and all the care that goes into making sure they arrive safely (and what happens when they don’t).
• You will learn what to expect from your interior designer as well as what your designer will expect from you.
• You will learn where I find inspiration and where to look for it yourself.
• You will watch as I put projects together, and see how room arrangements should work and how to put a fabric scheme together.
• You will see how we place orders with vendors and track them to make sure everything runs smoothly, and what we do when it things don’t go as planned.
• You will then see how the finished product comes together in the client’s home, and learn how it should be maintained.
• You will learn about handmade draperies, custom carpets, and custom lamp shades, and see how it is done.
• You will learn how to “live” in your home and incorporate all the things you love.
• You will learn how to entertain your friends with fantastic style.
